Arts and Crafts.

Yesterday I got to hang out with my best friend. We spent 3 hours walking around walmart in search of art supplies and accessories for Decade Day. When we finally got back to my house we spent HOURS decorating her 5 drawer make up box and our compact mirrors. Everything turned out amazing! All of it looks so unique! Who knew you could do so much with glitter, Hello Kitty ribbon, scrapbook stickers, stick-on jewels, and glue? Hahaha. :)

Well my best friend just went home about an hour ago. It's boring now. Oh well. Tomorrow is school and it's decade day. Too bad I'm not really dressing up. Maybe I will during some other part of homecoming week. :)

Acting and such.

I am in Acting II this semester with the same teacher I had for Acting I last semester. My teacher put us in groups and had us each rehearse part of Act 1 of "The Importance of being Ernest" (a play that I don't particularly like). I got the part of Gwendolen Fairfax and, of course, I had long lines. I am great at memorizing lines, and my teacher knows that...but he also knows that I need to use my theater voice when I'm acting. I always get told to speak louder when I perform in his class. Every single time. But this time I finally got it right because he didn't tell me to speak louder when he was telling each of us what we needed to work on. I'm so proud of myself!

Halloween is coming up and I can't wait! I get to hang out with my best friend and we are going to have the coolest costumes in the entire county! She is going to be a super hero and I'm going to be Jasmine from Aladdin! Her mom is making our costumes! They are going to be AMAZING!

No New York.

I am no longer going to New York this summer. =/ I wanted to go. I really did. But when it came down to it, my birthday party is more important. New York will always be there...but I'm only going to have my Sweet 16 once! So sure, I won't get to go to NYC with my fellow classmates but at least I can still have my Sweet 16 in December! :) Beisdes, I'd rather go to New York with my best friend then with my school! Maybe we will get to do that someday. :)

Anyways, we just finished midterms earlier this week. These big tests make me so nervous! Luckily I was only extremely nervous about one particular test, and that was my chemistry test. I am horrible at chemistry. Horrible. And that midterm was 81 questions long! I guessed on most of the questions because I had no idea what they were asking! It all looks like a foreign language to me! I don't know how I did this but with all of my guessing I made an 84 on the test! It amazed me! I guess I have good guessing skills! Hahaha.

Oh, by the way, my schools AMAZING football team won their game on 10/9/09! The score was 76 to 0! Go Wildcats!
